Sleepers: it’s Tebow time

You can think whatever you want about Tim Tebow’s political views. You can question his ability to throw at the NFL level. You can even (gasp) think he isn’t a handsome stud. But you can’t argue with the fact that he runs.

When looking for sleepers, we’re in search of explosive — yet unproven — talent. These three fit the bill:

In?Tim we trust

Running quarterbacks may not win in the NFL, but they dominate in fantasy. With Tebow set to take over from Kyle Orton, he projects to at least match the 10.3 rushes per game he averaged as a starter last year. And without a true goal-line option on the roster right now, Tebow could reach 10 rushing touchdowns with ease.

Cook on board

Jared Cook was a breakout candidate before the Titans agreed to terms with Matt Hasselbeck. Now he’s a legit TE1 option. With a tantalizing combination of size and speed, Cook will rack up targets.

Handcuffs, please

Maurice Jones-Drew has endured a massive workload over the last two years and is dealing with troubling knee woes. Enter Rashad Jennings, his talented backup, that is worth a flier even if you don’t have MJD.
