There are a few positive things that the Temple men’s basketball team can take away from its 88-74 loss at Houston Sunday afternoon.
Like the fact that they turned a 20-point second half deficit to just five points in four minutes.
Or the first career double-double for sophomore Devontae Watson, (11 points and 10 rebounds).
But when a team allows a 22-2 run in the first half, it is hard to really feel very good about a losing effort.
And the schedule only gets tougher from here. Temple hosts Louisville Thursday, SMU Sunday and UConn on Feb. 20.
The Owls will then travel to Memphis and to Louisville.
