There was great concern regarding the throwing hand of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the hours leading up to Sunday’s game against the Dolphins as CBS Sports displayed a close-up photo of Brady’s middle and ring fingers on his right hand taped together. The hand also appeared swollen.

Adding to the speculation that Brady is “playing through something,” was the fact that his first pass against Miami yesterday was an interception. He finished with just 116 yards passing, though looked stronger in the second half in a 27-17 New England victory.

After Sunday’s game, Brady attempted to quell the speculation on his throwing hand by saying it was “perfect.”

“I don’t know that anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like but it looks fine to me and it feels good,” Brady said. “I’ll be out there next week, you don’t have to worry about that.”
