The UMass-Amherst men’s basketball team is back in the AP Top 25 poll for the first time since the 1998-99 season as they were tabbed No. 24 Monday. The Minutemen are 7-0, fresh off beating Nebraska, New Mexico and Clemson in the Charleston (S.C.) Classic.
Head coach Derek Kellogg’s team is next at Eastern Michigan on Dec. 3 and faces BYU in Springfield, Mass. on Dec. 7 (1:30 p.m., CBSSN).
