NESN debuted a fascinating new show titled, "Behind the B," Monday night and Bruins fans were treated to some unprecedented access. Within the first 10 minutes of the show, fans saw heavy discussions on management's thought process when it came to the early July trade of Tyler Seguin.
Scott Bradley, Director of Player Personnel:
"It's knowing your player and the value. And when to move him. And, we were good on (Andrew) Raycroft, we were good on Phil (Kessel) ... It's time.
"I don't know if a leopard can ever change his spots, but he's gonna have to. Otherwise we're going to be sitting here next year doing the same thing.
"(Peter Chiarelli) brings up (Patrick) Kane. If we have Kane (instead) we win the Stanley Cup."
Cam Neely, President:
"On the ice, I don't care what age you are, three years into the league. But there should be some improvements in the areas the coaching staff has talked to him about. It's a lot slower than its supposed to be. For me, if we get the right deal for him then it's something that we need to do."
