Two tickets to ‘Paradise Lost’
“Paradise Lost” is a Depression-era drama rife with parallels to the current economic and political climate. In the wrong hands, a predictable production of Clifford Odets’ period piece could bore an entire audience into a coma.

Allen: NFL 365
I was a little surprised this week when I saw that media sessions were being set up with Patriots players who are participating in the voluntary offseason workouts down in Gillette Stadium. I guess I shouldn't be, but its just another sign that the National Football League is a 365-days-a-year proposition these days.

Dirt truck rollover causes huge traffic mess on I-93S

QUINCY. A tractor trailer rolled over and spilled a large load of dirt on Interstate 93 in Quincy, shutting down the southbound lanes of the highway for several hours and creating a traffic mess.

The five-vehicle crash at about 7:45 a.m. yesterday left the truck on its side across the road with its load spilled over the lanes.

Traffic backed up for miles in both directions and some motorists got out of their stopped cars to watch emergency crews. By 10:45 a.m., all lanes had reopened.

State police say they plan to cite 41-year-old David Baxter of Boston for allegedly cutting off the truck in his Jeep from the left lane.
