The cheapest system of this bunch gives you the most for your money; it can play high-end games and offers plenty of options for expansion. Though it’s saddled with more crap-ware than we’d like, its  processor promises serious performance.

 

GAMING. As graphics engines and hardware push the boundaries of gaming, it’s getting harder to dip your toe into the gaming pool without shelling out a ton of your hard-earned money. High-end gaming systems can set you back upward of $5,000. These midrange gaming desktops, on the other hand, offer solid performance and top-of-the-line parts while costing as little as $1,200.
