Tea parties target Obama, taxes

BOSTON. Rallies modeled on the 1773 Boston Tea Party were held in more than 500 cities  across America yesterday, protesting taxes, government bailouts and President Barack Obama’s budget proposals.

Hundreds gathered in Boston Common and  Christopher Columbus Park for the tax day protests.

Obama has promised reform, saying, “I want every American to know that we will rewrite the tax code so that it puts your interests over any special interest.”
