Theo Bleckmann and Ensemble Noamnesia
Vocalist Theo Bleckmann has a staggering range, not just in what his voice can do but in what he chooses to do with it, from combining with four others in the nouveau-a cappella jazz group Moss to exploring the songs of Charles Ives with avant-jazz band Kneebody. Composer/bass clarinetist Gene Coleman’s Soundfield hosts Bleckmann for a set of his compositions, backed by Coleman’s Ensemble Noamnesia and NY’s JACK String Quartet.
