Stop the presses! Demi Lovato has posted something on Twitter!
And posted. And posted. And posted again. Lovato says she posts something new on Twitter about five to 10 times a day. Earlier this week she even posted “Too much twittering. I have to stop now. Haha.” But every time she writes something, whether it’s a response to the singer’s hundreds of thousands of followers or something about her music, teen celeb Web sites seem to eat it up.
“I think it’s funny,” says Lovato, aka twitter.com/ddlovato. “But I’m not going to stop myself or worry that I might get in trouble.”
Lovato — considered by some to be the Disney heiress to Miley Cyrus — is a little bit rock ‘n’ roll rebel and a little bit girl next door. So far she hasn’t said much, on Twitter or otherwise, that people don’t like.
“I want people to think of me as a true musician,” she says. “If people say that I’m a great [live] performer, that would be the biggest compliment.”
