Can draft make good B’s better?

The Bruins enter Friday’s NHL Entry Draft in an unfamiliar position — trying to strengthen a team that’s already a contender.

With the Bruins looking to bolster their roster — and with GM Peter Chiarelli needing to clear cap space in order to re-sign several restricted free agents, including Phil Kessel — they could make a big trade to move up in the first round.

If the Bruins do move up, they may target a local product: Chris Kreider, a forward from Boxford, is on his way to BC this fall.

Zack Kassian, a 6-3 power forward from Peterborough of the OHL is another nice prospect, though the B’s might be better bolstering their blue line.
