An overwhelming majority of Americans wants Wall Street subjected to tougher regulation in the aftermath of the bank bailout and the bonus scandals that have rocked the U.S. financial sector, according to a Harris poll released on Thursday.

3 men beaten at global gay sports event

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK. The World Outgames had just started Saturday night when violence hit. Two assailants attacked three gay men in central Copenhagen around midnight. The victims were hospitalized after being kicked and beaten.

Police arrested two Danish men, 28 and 33. The attack is being treated as a hate crime.

World Outgames is a nine-day sporting and cultural event hosted by the gay community. Five-thousand people participate in the event.
