To celebrate their favorite show, Sofia Italian Steakhouse (1430 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury)  concocted three killer cocktails for October.

Try the minty Sergeant Batista Mojito, the Miguel Cuba Libre (Goslings rum, ginger beer, Bacardi and a splash of Coke) or owner Marios Michalakis’ favorite, the Bloody Dexter — it’s topped with soft pepper, onion and cucumber gazpacho.

Will other shows inspire the Sofia staff? Maybe a Liz Lemon Drop or a Glee and Tonic?

“Right now we want to see how this goes,” says Michalakis. “We’ll take it from there.”

The cocktails are available during the restaurant’s Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or anytime upon request, for $7.

MMMpod
The March MMMpod features conversation and music from Surfer Blood and The Allman Brothers Band (There's a double-bill you're not too likely to see. However, Gregg Allman does mention Hannah Montana!). We also speak with Vampire Weekend and the Dropkick Murphys.
