Cyrus: Is she an alien, or just a liar?

 

 

Just when you thought Miley Cyrus could not seem less like a 16-year-old (or, you know, a human), she claims she’s never heard a Jay-Z song. Ever.

When asked about her song “Party in the U.S.A.” — which includes a line about listening to one of the rapper’s songs  — she told UsMagazine.com that the lyrics aren’t quite true. “I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song,” she admitted. “I don’t listen to pop music.”

Now, it’s hard to believe that the girl singing and dancing in glorified underwear to “Party in the U.S.A.” is above pop. Almost as hard as it is to believe that someone living on the same planet as New York City hasn’t heard “Empire State of Mind” a hundred times over the past two weeks.

Miley, we have a feeling you’re going to have to deny much more embarrassing things in the next couple of years — save it.
