Kelly Rutherford is an actress currently starring on WB’s “Gossip Girl.” She is the mom of 3-year-old Hermes and 5-month-old Helena.
 
Be honest: Did you really love being pregnant?

I did love being pregnant. Being that connected with being a woman gave me such a sense of purpose both times. [It] changed my life. Even the morning sickness and the cravings all the way to the birth. We forget what a miracle it is to give birth. Being pregnant is such a joyful transformation.

What’s the best part about being a mom in NYC?

I love being a mom in New York. There’s just so much to do here with the kids. We are never bored. The park, museums, play dates, the zoo, being outdoors strolling. The city offers so many fun things, be it theater for kids or outdoors in the snow making snowmen in the winter.
