On mime stalker: Cage didn’t hear a thing

 

 

Although Nicolas Cage is currently spending most of his time fending off bankruptcy, he did take a break to talk to Parade magazine about the time he was stalked — by a mime.

“Somehow, this mime would appear on the set of ‘Bringing Out the Dead’ and start doing strange things,” he claims. “I guess it would fall into the stalker category more or less ...  it was definitely unsettling.”

We guess there are worse things to be stalked by, like those people who paint themselves gold as if they’re statues, or those Children International people who constantly ask you for money. But that mime was a true professional — upon meeting Cage face to face, who among us wouldn’t speak up and let him know how terrible “National Treasure” was?
