Oh, those plastic abs

When we first saw this, we were like, “Why is Mattel trying to make a doll based on a man in West Virginia who is upset that his favorite chain restaurant is adhering to their ‘no shirt, no service’ rule?”

But then we read on and found out that this is Mattel’s new doll modeled after Taylor Lautner’s boy-turned-werewolf character, Jacob in “New Moon.” Is not making tiny, little shirts for a few hours Mattel’s way of giving a bonus for their workers? You’d think for $25, you’d at least get a pair of mini-socks thrown in, right?

We almost wish Jacob was wearing full-length skinny jeans, but just for the heck of it, we might cut them just a little bit shorter to make them into Daisy Dukes.

The March MMMpod features conversation and music from Surfer Blood and The Allman Brothers Band (There's a double-bill you're not too likely to see. However, Gregg Allman does mention Hannah Montana!). We also speak with Vampire Weekend and the Dropkick Murphys.
