OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
No payment, entry fee or purchase required to enter or win a prize. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
- Sweepstakes Period : Metro’s “A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN IMAX 3D” Contest will run November 18th at 5:00am to November 22nd, 2009 at 11:59pm.
- Sponsor : METRO Boston , 320 Congress Street , Boston , MA 02210
- Eligibility : To enter you must be a lawful permanent resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island, and be at least 18 years of age. Entries received from persons residing outside of the eligible geographic areas, or where restricted or prohibited by law, will be disqualified. Employees of Metro Boston, Metro LLC, Jordan’s Furniture, and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, advisors, independent contractors, representatives, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes, and the immediate family or members of the households of each, whether or not related, (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and void where prohibited or restricted by Law.
4. How to enter: Follow the method of entry instructions as stated in the promotional ads by sending, via SMS messaging (“text”), the keyword JORDANSIMAX to the short code 89800. Limit 1 entry per person per day. Standard text messages apply. Incomplete/illegible entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Metro is not responsible for any technological glitches with the text functionality, wireless reception issues, power outages, server outages, or any other technical issues that may affect one’s ability to enter via text. Contestants may also enter by sending a 3” x 5” postcard to “A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN IMAX 3D” , c/o Metro Boston, 320 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02110. Be sure to reference the prize you are entering to win.
- Contestant Selection and Notification : All contestants will be selected from all eligible entries through a random drawing held on or about November 23rd, 2009 by an employee of Metro, whose decisions on all matters related to these Official Rules will be final and binding. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Contestants will be notified by telephone, at Sponsor’s discretion, on the day specified in the disclaimer portion of the contest ad. If being notified by phone, and in the event that a potential contestant is not home, a voicemail will be left with specific instructions.
- Prize: Five (5) winners will each receive four (4) tickets to a showing of “A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN IMAX 3D” at the Verizon IMAX Theater at Jordan’s Furniture in either Reading or Natick, MA. Tickets are good for any screening at either theater during the entire run of the show, as long as the screening is not sold out. Taxes on a prize, and any other costs, fees, and expenses not explicitly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Prize is non-transferable. No substitution for prize or redemption for cash permitted, except that Metro reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of prize unavailability.

- Sweepstakes Conditions : By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, that the decision of the judge will be final and binding, to be contacted by the Sponsor by e-mail, telephone, or mail, and to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless each and every Sweepstakes Entity from and against any and all claims, damages, or liability for injuries, damages, losses, or actions of any kind resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity.
