Families and supporters of three American hikers imprisoned in Iran since July 31, 2009, will hold a rally Fri-day, outside the Iranian Mission to the United Nations to raise awareness about the young people’s plight.
No one has had contact with the three — Shane Bauer, Sarah Shourd and Josh Fattal — since May when their mothers were allowed a short visit, Fattal’s brother Alex said Thursday. The families hope Iranian authorities will release them this weekend.
