Kid eats hottest pepper in the world, immediately regrets decision

All over the Web people record themselves eat peppers to show their reactions.

A nine-year-old YouTube user from Ireland who goes by the name Pikachu The Pokémon recorded his reaction to eating the Carolina Reaper – one of the hottest peppers in the world.

When he first puts the pepper in his mouth and chews, it appears that he’s able to tolerate it. When he swallows it, he begins to feel the burn and reaches for a glass of milk. His grandfather walks in to let him know he wasn’t supposed to swallow and reminds him that the pepper will burn his stomach. He also implies that he will see the true effects when the pepper finally passes through his body.

The kid immediately puts down his milk and appears to run out the room after he stops recording.

We don’t know what happened to the kid after he stopped the video, but we hope he’s still alive.
