VIDEO: Woman has phone snatched, smashed by cop carrying assault rifle

A disturbing video has surfaced online that shows a police officer armed with a machine gun snatching a woman’s phone and smashing it. A witness captured the entire incident from across the street.

The short clip was recorded on April 19 in South Gate, California shows a woman having an encounter with the police and documenting their activity. It’s unclear if she was taking photos or video, but as soon as the cop notices her with the phone, he rushes her, snatches the phone and smashes it on the ground and walks away.
