Airbnb is reportedly offering the chance to stay several nights in a glass bedroom that’s been submerged in a shark tank.

The contest, announced Tuesday morning, has made headlines for its adventurous prize of sleeping with sharks.

“On April 11th, 12th and 13th, the Aquarium de Paris is hosting the first-ever sleepover in our Shark Aquarium,” The home-sharing website wrote in the contest description. “Your home for the night is unlike any other ever built: a peaceful enclosure with a large cylindrical bed and breathtaking, immersive views of your new sharp-toothed friends.”

The night’s stay includes dinner and breakfast in the tank, as well as a guided tour through the aquariumand an introduction to the sharks from the safety of your room.

This all sounds really cool, but also sounds like a very elaborate April Fools' prank.

Why do we think it’s a prank? The mere idea of sleeping in a glass bedroom in a shark tank, for starters, sounds ridiculous.

Second of all, the timing of the contest is simply too close to April 1. Airbnb's first mention of the contest was March 29, just a couple of days before April Fools'.
