Watch the gang-taunting video from a tough Louisiana police captain

A Louisiana police captain’s gang-taunting video has gone viral as area law enforcement aims to arrest seven at-large individuals.

St. Landry Parish Capt. Clay Higgins turns his attention to seven “armed and dangerous” alleged members of the Gremlin Gang in an online video that is getting attention for its blunt message, Fox reported.

“You will be hunted. You will be trapped. And if you raise your weapon to a man like me, we’ll return fire with superior fire,” Higgins addressed the gang members in a portion of the video quoted by Fox.

Higgins is apparently well-known in his community for his tough image, theDaily Mailreported in a related article. His Facebook page has more than 20,000 likes, and a website sells items with his picture and captions like “Pay attention, son” and “Redemption.”

In the online video, Higgins is surrounded by officers from more than a dozen law enforcement agencies as he addresses the seven Gremlin members being sought, theDaily Mailstated.

“You think men like these are afraid of an uneducated, 125-pound punk like you — that’s never won a fair fight in your life and holds your gun sideways?” Higgins said in the video.

Gremlin Gang members have apparently not been secretive about their lawlessness as they often post music videos in which they rap about the crimes they’ve committed,KATCstated in a related article.

The seven at-large individuals are wanted in connection to violent crimes including murders, burglaries, extortion and assaults, according to Fox.
