15 celebrity couples who met on set

Ah, celebrity couples. Sometimes, they’re goals AF. Other times it’s like, oh yeah, you guys exist? That’s chill.

But then again, celebrities are just like us. Sometimes they meet someone on the job — it’s just not by the watercooler, it’s in front of the cameras. And then they get together. And then, sometimes, they stay together. It’s wild. Here are fifteen celebrity couples who did just that.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Ah, hard to not be charmed by these two, who met on the set of “Step Up.” And we all know the good thing about that movie was their chemistry. It certainly wasn’t the plot. On set, Tatum wooed the future Dewan-Tatum with nothing but a pair of Uggs and a sombrero — and the rest is history. They married in 2009 and welcomed daughter Everly in 2013.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Kunis and Kutcher met, of course, on the set of “That ‘70s Show,” where they played boyfriend and girlfriend. But it would take years for them to get to the real thing. After each breaking up with their respective partners, they started dating around 2011, were engaged by February 2014, and married in July 2015. They have two kids — Wyatt and Dmitri.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Mendes and Gosling met on the set of that movie you keep meaning to watch on Netflix, “A Place Beyond the Pines.” They are intensely private about their whole situation, so the only things we know are that A) they’re definitely still together; and B) they share two daughters Esmeralda and Amada.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Lively and Reynolds met on the set of “Green Lantern,” a movie that nobody remembers. They married in September 2012 at a plantation — rude — and live in Bedford, New York with their two daughters, James and Ines.

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy

Danes — a woman I only recognize as Juliet from Baz Luhrman’s “Romeo + Juliet” — and Dancy met on the set of the film “Evening” in 2007 and were married in 2009. Their last names are very complimentary.

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser

These two met on the set of “Mad Men.” The pair — both brunettes with a set of White Walker eyes — have always been notoriously tight lipped about their romance; but we do know that they started dating sometime around 2012, were engaged sometime in 2013, and secretly tied the knot in June 2014. They welcomed a son in fall 2015.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen

The artist formerly known as Summer Roberts met the guy that ruined Darth Vader on the set of the film “Jumper,” where they played love interests. I don’t remember it either! The two have been together since 2008 — except for that time they took a break in 2010 — and share a daughter, Briar Rose.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

These two Brits met each other on the set of “The Dream House” and married in 2011. But they’re all about keeping their private life private, with Weisz, saying to do otherwise would be a betrayal.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

Cruz and Bardem met on the set of “Jámon Jámon” in 1992. They were caught sharing a tender moment in 2007, and although neither of them confirmed the relationship, we all knew what was up. They married in 2011 and now share two children, Luna and Leo.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer

Did you guys suffer through the highs and lows of “True Blood,” like I did? No? Well then you don’t know anything about Paquin and Moyer, who met as the two protagonists on HBO’s vampire-werewolf-shapeshifter-maenad soap opera. They started dating in 2007, were engaged in 2009 and married in 2010. They share a set of twins, Poppy and Charlie.

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli

Wiley met her now-wife, Morelli, on the set of “Orange is the New Black,” where the latter was a writer and producer. Now, Poussey may be dead (RIP, bb) but their love sure isn’t — the two got engaged in 2016 and married in 2017.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

These two met on the set of some Nicholas Sparks tomfoolery, “The Last Song.” They started dating around 2010, were engaged by 2012 and broke up in 2013. Kids, am I right? No worries though — as of January 2016, they’re back to being engaged.

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell

Mara and Bell may be thanking their lucky stars for “Fantastic Four” despite its flop — because it brought them together. The couple announced their engagement in January and had a hush hush wedding last month.

Rose Leslie and Kit Harington

For those of us who can’t get Leslie as Ygritte, with her “You know nothing Jon Snow—” followed by intense moaning, you already know the deal: Leslie and Harington met on the set of “Game of Thrones,” where Leslie’s character took Harington’s character’s v-card. They’ve had an on-again, off-again romance ever since, but right now it is definitely on.

Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero

My personal favorite, Gina Rodriguez, met her current beau on the set of “Jane the Virgin,” where he played a stripper. No lie. That’s real love. They made their red carpet debut in January and Locicero features heavily on Rodriguez’s Instagram weekly, so. They’re probably just one step away from the alter.
