2 holiday recipes to try with your kids

Eating a plate of homemade cookies on Christmas Eve or after a long day of shopping has become a tradition many families look forward to. And with the weather too windy and cold to play outside, baking them with your kids can be a special way to spend the day.

Italian cafe Crave.it knows a lot about family traditions – and delicious treats. The New York City-based cafe specializes in Italian pastries, like warm apple and cream pocket croissants and apricot tarts. They share two of their beloved holiday recipes with us here, which you can make with your kids. The desserts may look impressive, but Crave.it whipped these up with their kids baking class, so it can be done! It just may inspire a new family tradition.
