2 women wanted in 7 train assault

Police are seeking two women accused of punching and slashing a passenger on the 7 train in Queens last month.

On May 24, a 22-year-old man got into an argument with two women on the Manhattan-bound platform ofthe 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue train station, police said.

The two women started to punch the man about his head and body. As the altercation escalated, one of them allegedly slashed him in the arm and shoulder with an unknown weapon.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he wastreated and released.

The NYPD released an image of one of the suspects, who is described as a 35-year-old woman with black hair in a ponytail.
