Three small children were rushed to hospital with minor injuries yesterday morning, after a three-vehicle crash including a school bus near Stony Plain.
An SUV eastbound on Highway 16 smashed into the back passenger’s side of a Toyota Corolla, driving south on Range Road 20. The Toyota was sent sliding toward the school bus, which was parked at a stop sign.
Three children of the few passengers on the bus were taken to the Westview Health Centre.
The female driver of the SUV was taken to the U of A hospital.
No charges have been laid, and RCMP continue to investigate.
