Instead of chairs the seating is bench-style, separated by smalltableswhere you can order food and drinks before or during the show. Instead of nachos with fake cheese and wilted hot dogs, the New American menu has bar bites like popcorn fried oysters ($5-$10), as well asheartier fare like a battered-and-fried beef shortribsandwich and harissa-glazed lamb ribs($8-$21).And yes, there is popcorn — eight flavors of it.

The full bar serves nudge-nudge cocktails like theRedrum, which soothesyour post-“The Shining” wits with rums fromJamaican and the Dominican Republic. Beer and wine are also available, and the kitchen and bar will collaborate on themedspecials to complement future screenings.
