Before you head out to one of Canada’s beautiful parks on a camping trip, consider the following tips that will help care for the environment.
We all know the cardinal rule “Leave the area just as you found it,” but here some other tips to keep in mind:
1. Use reusable dishes: Do not use styrofoam and plastic picnic dishes.
2. Sort your garbage: Bringing different waste bags to separate food scraps and other garbage from recyclables.
3. Repackage food: Remove all food packaging and repack it in reusable containers. Don’t bring individual packed food items.
