These five incidents follow four slashings that occurred in the city last week. A man was cut in the face during a robbery in Nolita on Feb. 18, less than a day after a suspect at the Silver Spurs restaurant in Greenwich Village sliced a waiter’s face open.

Days before that, on Feb. 16, a cab driver in Harlem had his face cut and on Feb. 15 a 23-year-old man was attacked in the Financial District.
