During his tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame this week, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was presented with a blast from his football past.
Trump, a former owner of the New Jersey Generals in the defunct USFL, was presented this week with a piece of his personal history from the league. Trump was in town this week for a campaign rally in Canton, Ohioand made a quick visit of the museum (which is the top tourist attraction in the state).During his tour, one of the documents he reviewed was a Christmas card he sent to George Allen. RELATED: Donald Trump visits the Pro Football Hall of Fame A former head coach of the Chicago Blitz in the USFL, Allen was selected to the Hall of Fame in 2002.
Of the five million documents curated by the Hall of Fame was a Christmas card sent by Trump to Allen in 1984 during their time together in the league.
Metro has exclusively obtained the card sent by Trump, who has surged in presidential polls in recent weeks.
