However, audiences are shocked when it’s revealed the trio was actually raised in a mysterious boarding school for organ donors. Never Let Me Go wraps a tale of love around the moody, ominous moral horror. It’s all about atmosphere and Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo) manages to capture a stunning looker while Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley deliver the goods … so to speak.
