Accused of giving secrets to China

Just weeks after federal agents arrested a Cambridge couple for spying, another Massachusetts man went before a federal judge yesterday for allegations of espionage.

Kexue Huang, 45, of Westborough, faces 12 counts of economic espionage to benefit a foreign government and five counts of interstate or foreign transportation of stolen property.

Prosecutors said during yesterday’s detention hearing in Worcester that Huang allegedly passed on $100 million worth of insecticide trade secrets to China.
