Adrian Peterson injury status (ankle)

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suffered an ankle injury late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. It was the second time in the game that Peterson appeared injured, as the league’s second leading rusher (heading into NFL Week 15) was also favoring his shoulder.

ESPN’s John Clayton said that Peterson’s return to the game was “probable.”
