Amazon will now offer Prime members in Manhattan one-hour delivery at no extra cost from over 350 local restaurants.

On Tuesday, Amazon announced that members of its Prime service could pay exactly what they would at area restaurants to have food delivered to their Manhattan homes.

“Amazon Prime members across Manhattan have already experienced the convenience of ultra-fast delivery through Prime Now,” said Gus Lopez, general manager at Amazon Restaurants, in the announcement. “And now, we are making it even better by adding free delivery from hundreds of local restaurants.”

By using the Prime Now app or visiting the Prime Now website, customers can pick restaurants, browse menus, place orders and track the delivery status of their orders, the company stated, adding that deliveries will take one hour or less.

Participating restaurants include Le Pain Quotidien, Momofuku Milk Bar, John’s of Bleecker Street, Brother Jimmy’s BBQ and White Oak Tavern, according to Amazon.

“We will refund any customer who pays more with Prime Now than they would have at the restaurant,” Amazon spokesman Tom Cook said to the New York Post, adding that free delivery will be one of the service’s standard features, not a temporary perk.
