An 10-year-old girl who went missing after her non-custodial mother allegedly picked her up from a Lower East Side school Wednesday afternoon has been found in good condition, officials said.
Celine Melanie Hickswas last seen around 1 p.m. at Castle Middle School, located at 220 Henry St. in the company of her mother, Jacqueline Hendricks.

After an Amber Alert was issued for the missing child just before noon Thursday, she was located safe and sound later that afternoon, said police, who would not provide further details, citing an ongoing investigation.
