AsAmericans prepare to stuff their faces with candy and scare themselves with their favorite horror movie this Halloween, Influensterhas come up with a map that shows the most popular scary movies in each U.S. state.

Polling15,237 Americans using a list of top-reviewed horror movies from their site, they found that “Hocus Pocus” is the winner, with the highest overall numberof votes and a favorite in the most number of states.

Other top movies in order of total number of votes are: “The Conjuring,” “Insidious,” “Silence Of The Lambs” and “The Sixth Sense.”

The least surprising result? Texas’ top horror flickis “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.”
