Hacking group Anonymous has declared war on ISIS in a newly released video following Friday night’s Paris attacks that left 129 people dead.
In a video on the group’s French YouTube page, the Anonymous hackers warn ISIS to “expect us” because members “are going to hunt you down,” the Daily Mail reported, adding that Anonymous is urging its members to hack into ISIS websites to steal valuable information and leak it online in a new initiative called Operation Paris, or #OpParis. “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you, and we will not let you go,” a masked spokesman for the group said in the new video, which was quoted by the Daily Mail. “We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. Expect massive cyberattacks. War is declared. Get prepared.” RELATED:Anonymous unmasked: Meet the hacktivist group’s non-hackers It isn’t the first time the hackers have made threats against ISIS as they made similar threats after the Charlie Hebdo attacks in January, the Mirror reported in a related article, adding that Anonymous runs an operation publishing a list of Twitter accounts it claims are spreading propaganda in support of ISIS. The group’s official Twitter page claims to have already hacked and taken down 2256 pro-ISIS Twitter accounts, the Daily Mail added, also reporting that the group launched a similar attack on the terror group following the Charlie Hebdo massacre in January and closed down an extremist website.

“We are upping our game. You will now be hit by major cyberattacks,” the Mirror quoted the Anonymous spokesman in the video.
“We are furious with the repeated slaughter of innocent citizens in the name of a peaceful religion, you clearly don’t respect you beliefs,” wrote Anonymous in an online post quoted by the Mirror. “The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger,” the Daily Mail quoted the video.
The death toll in Paris currently stands at 129 people, the Mirror claimed, while another 415 people were admitted to hospital of which 42 are in critical condition.
