Adding insult to injury, ex-New York Congressman Anthony Weiner managed to humiliate his wife, Huma Abedin, yet again.
Yesterday, one of his “sexting” mistresses shared messages with the Daily Mail in which Weiner calls Abedin’s parents “backwards thinking” and claims religious differences have burdened their marriage.
Traci Nobles, 35, a former cheerleading coach who had textual trysts with Weiner, revealed the scandalous excerpts in her new book, “I Friended You,” set to be published this week.
In some exchanges, Weiner complained to Nobles that Abedin’s Muslim family clashed with his Jewish faith.
“They just believe I should be Muslim or convert … it makes for a lot of uncomfortable meetings,” Weiner wrote. “I wish I had an escape route sometimes.”
Another time he confided in Nobles: “A lot has to do with religion. Lots of restrictions and how I’ve never been accepted by them.”
In other texts, he bragged about masturbating in the restroom of the House of Representatives.
“It’s a big office and you know that’s not the only thing here that’s big,” he wrote, according to Nobles.
Abedin was pregnant when the scandal broke and is due to give birth to the couple’s first child, a boy, on New Year’s Eve. The couple has reportedly moved to the West Village.

Abedin, born in Michigan and raised in Saudi Arabia, is the daughter of an Indian scholar father and Pakistani academic mother. Her father, Syed Zainul Abedin, died when she was 17. Her mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, is an associate professor of sociology. She has been Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s aide since 1996, when she began as an intern alongside Monica Lewinsky. President Bill Clinton has referred to her as his “second daughter” and presided over her and Weiner’s wedding.
