Ariana Grande seems to have undergone some better PR training since her extremely weird interview with Complex, in which she told a reporter that she can see demons. Yes, demons. But now in Cosmo‘s February cover story, she’s gone from talking about demons to Barbra Streisand. Good girl.

Back in November, the up-and-coming pop star chatted — blissfully unaware that her comments were going to viral — about the time she was in Kansas City and went to a graveyard. We’ll let Grande take it from there: “The next night we wanted to go to Stull Cemetery, which is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth. The pope won’t fly over it,” she said. “I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon. I was like, ‘This is scary, let’s leave.’ I rolled down the window before we left and said, ‘We apologize. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.’ Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture — they’re faces of textbook demons.”

Grande says she tried to email the picture, but it couldn’t be sent, because it was 666 megabytes.

Weird, right? But now the popstar is back on bland, neutral territory with her recent cover interview with Cosmopolitan. This time, instead of seeing demons, she sees Barbra Streisand.

“I think I’m an old soul. What excites younger people doesn’t excite me. … I’m kind of a boring, normal girl who likes Harry Potter and to sit in her pajamas and sing. A lot of my friends are partiers, but I’ve never really clicked with that,” she said. “I like Barbra Streisand, and when was the last time you saw Babs getting, like, turnt up? That’s kind of the road that I, as a lady, would like to go down.”

Speaking of being a lady, she dished a bit on romance with her boyfriend, Nathan Sykes, the youngest member of the British boy band The Wanted. “We were going back to his hotel to watch a movie, and he had Ladurée macarons and sunflowers waiting — I love Parisian baked goods, and sunflowers are my favorite flower. He had taken the DVD player out of the bedroom and into the living room because he said he didn’t want to take me into the bedroom on the first date.”

Maybe because he thought there could be demons in there?
