A woman in the Bronx survived an attack by a pair would-be robbers who managed to leave the survivor with a broken wrist.

Cops said the 60-year-old woman was walking near Westchester and Prospect avenues in Longwood at around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 10.

Two unidentified men followed the woman when suddenly one of them grabbed her from behind and put her in a chokehold as they tried to take her purse.

The woman, however, fought back and was able to free herself from her attackers and began to run away.

But one of the two men chased after her and managed to kick her in the leg, forcing her to fall down and break her wrist in the process.

That’s when the two assailants ran away empty-handed, authorities said.

The woman was treated for her wrist and released shortly after.

Video surveillance from the scene of the crime released by NYPD showed the two young men in dark hoodies and dark pants.

Police ask that anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or text their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
