Back to the Future’s Pepsi Perfect is now real and here’s how to get one

Back to the Future II may have been more fiction than reality now that it’s 2015 (we’re still waiting on an actual hoverboard), but one of the film’s creations is actually coming to life.

Pepsi announced Monday that it is coming out with Pepsi Perfect — the famous soda Marty McFly orders in the second installment of thetrilogy.

“Pepsi fans asked and we heard them loud and clear,” said Lou Arbetter, senior director of marketing, PepsiCo said in a statement. “The Back to the Future trilogy was as big a moment in pop culture history then as it is now, 30 years later. We are excited to be part of this moment and to bring fans something only Pepsi could deliver —and there’s no need to wait — the future is now!”

Though the future is now, it’s also limited.

There will only be 6,500 bottles of the drink available to purchase online via Amazon startingon Oct. 21while supplies last.Although each 16.9 ounce-drinkwill be outfitted in a special collectible case, they’ll contain regular Pepsi. Each will also costa lot more than your average soda at $20.15 per bottle.

For Back to the Future fans who just can’t wait to get their hands on one, then come to the Javits Center later this week for New York Comic Con.

Each day, the first 200 fans who come to the Pepsi Perfect Booth dressed as Marty McFlywill take home their own Pepsi Perfect.

McFly schedule:

Thursday – 1-2 p.m.

Friday – Sunday – 11a.m.-12 p.m.

McFly outfits must contain the following:

Puffy red vest or Back to the Future Part II jacket

Blue jeans

White high-top sneakers
