Beatles Anniversary Tribute

In 1966, a little album called “Revolver” dropped and became lucky No. 7 for The Beatles — just as they considered breaking up. Fifty years later we’re still celebrating it, with a tribute concert featuring local artists on each of the tracks, from “Eleanor Rigby” to “Yellow Submarine.” Musicians include Janna Pelle, Carbon Mirage, Animal Reporters and Cousin Earth. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

New Yorker Pamela Love blends a love of science and nature (think arrowheads and feathers) with all things shiny and girly (like moonstones and sapphire) in her eponymous jewelry line. Now the artist is releasing her first book, “Muses and Manifestations,” which pairs photos of her iconic pieces with stories about the inspirations behind them, from botany to folk art. She’ll be appearing tonight at Rizzoli Bookstore for a free book signing with cocktails, tarot card readings and fortune tellers.

Also in the mix is a reading from her book, followed by a signing and Q&A.

Something is not right when Will (Logan Marshall-Greene) shows up uninvited to a dinner party being thrown by his ex-wife (Tammy Blanchard) and her new husband (Michiel Huisman) in “The Invitation.” Videology is screening the tension-packed movie over four nights, and we have to imagine that it will help to have a bartender and some friends nearby as the dread mounts and the adrenaline begins to kick in.

But as much as it’s a dance battle, it’s also a tribute party, so prepare to celebrate the contributions of both deserving divas.

Broadway royalty will be on display at a FREE event celebrating legendary Stephen Schwartz. The composer of “Wicked,” “Pippin” and “Godspell,” among numerous other culture-shaping contributions, will be feted at Symphony Space’s annual Wall-to-Wall. His hits from the stage and screen will be sung by the likes of Patti LuPone, Liz Callaway, Raul Esparza and Laura Osnes. Seating is first-come, first-serve, unless you’d like to make a donation to Symphony Space for $100, which will snag you reserved seats.

One of the biggest events of the season arrives next weekend. Each year, 60 of the world’s top interior designers create tableaus at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Guests can view the settings or shop for pieces that are marked down to a fraction of retail value. The event kicks off with an awards dinner, followed the next night with a cocktail reception and then two days of public showings. Proceeds support individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
