Former president Bill Clinton will be Boston on Thursday to receive an award for his work for a national service organization.
The 42nd president will attend City Year’s 25th Anniversary Gala on Thursday night at Symphony Hall.
Clinton, 67, will receive the organization’s Legacy Award and will be honored for his leadership of national service, his advocacy for City Year in the U.S. and for starting City Year South Africa.
The Boston Pops will perform during the event that more than 2,000 people from across the country will attend.
