A driver gave a new meaning to the phrase “pile up” this morning after a car crash in Wellesley.
The driver of a Honda Civic told officers that he stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake when trying to park his car in a garage about 8 a.m., said Wellesley Police Sgt. Glen Gerrans.
That’s apparently how the Honda ended up on top of a parked car.
“This is a new one,” Gerrans said.
He said there were no injuries and the 62-year-old driver from Needham was cited for failure to use care and caution while driving.
