Need work? Well, you’d have to sit through a game involving the lamentable Hamilton Pussy-Cats, but you might just be able to find a new job if you show up at the Rogers Centre on Sept. 9.
Here’s the deal: The Argonauts, presumably fearful that they would draw a puny crowd for their Sept. 9 match against the Pussy-Cats had they not come up with some sort of creative promotion, will be conducting a job fair during the game.
Seriously.
Companies will be interviewing potential employees who are being encouraged to bring their resumes to the game. The Argos are offering vouchers for both the game and the job fair for a mere five dollars. It’s different. So different, in fact, that it’s worthy of a mention here.
