Aaron Greene and Morgan Gliedman, who were found to be stockpiling explosives in their Greenwich Village apartment late last year and may have plotted to blow up the Washington Arch, are now fighting over visitation rights to their baby, the Daily News reports.
Greene, who is being held on Rikers Island, told Manhattan Family Court on Friday that he has had no contact with his daughter and that Gliedman hasn’t even given him a picture of 4-month-old Melodie, who was born the day after the two were arrested in December.
Gliedman is being monitored by ankle bracelet while living at her parents’ house in Brooklyn. Her lawyer argued against visitation from the father’s side of the family but Judge Susan Knipps appeared unconvinced.
“I understand there are hard feelings between the families [but] I don’t understand why there’s such resistance,” Knipps said.
