Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a car chase that went from West Bridgewater to Brockton and involved occupants in one car shooting at another.

The incident allegedly began around 2:45 p.m. on Monday when gunfire erupted near the intersection of routes 106 and 28 in West Bridgewater, the Enterprise reported. Nearby witnesses reported seeing a white Ford sedan chasing another car and hearing five quick gunshots.

“The car in front of us kept looking out the back window and ducking behind the seats as if they were expecting to get shot by the car behind them,” Kelly Couite, who was in a car close to the chase, said to WHDH.

Officers from West Bridgewater and Brockton chased the white Ford to Brentwood Avenue where they caught two men before catching a third who was hiding nearby, the Enterprise stated.

Craig Dubuisson, 21, Kevin Cardoso, 19, and Jorge Monteiro, 21, were arrested by police, who added that they do not believe the incident was random and more charges could come against occupants of the other vehicle, according to WHDH.
