A Boston man is due in court Monday after he allegedly took items from rooms in an upscale hotel.

Police said officers were called to 50 Park Plaza, the location of the Boston Park Plaza hotel, about 10 a.m. Saturday for a report of multiple burglaries.

The victims told officers that multiple personal items had been taken from their rooms overnight. The missing belongings included cellphones, laptops, cameras, purses, credit cards and cash.

While officers were taking information from the Park Plaza victims and investigating, the alleged suspect was arrested for trespassing at another hotel.

Boston police detectives later determined that the man arrested at the other hotel matched the description given by witnesses and surveillance camera footage at the Park Plaza, police said.

Police charged Paul Palrao, 35, with trespassing and accused him in the hotel burglaries.
