It’s been a rough summer for Keytar Bear, but Boston’s favorite costumed musician is about to get a big pick-me-up courtesy of the city’s restaurant scene.

A slew of local food and drink mavens are teaming up for the Keytar Bear Lovefest on July 10 to benefit the bruised busker, who was attacked and robbed by three New Hampshire teens near Faneuil Hall last month. Hosted by Troquet on South bar manager Matt Marini, the fundraiser will feature an evening of brews and bear-themed snacks, with a portion of the proceeds going to Keytar Bear as well as the nonprofit No Kid Hungry.

“How many times has Keytar been there for you? Too many times!” Marini wrote in the description for the event’s Facebook page. “It’s about time we raise our glass and show some support for our furry friend.”

The party kicks off at 8 p.m. on Monday night at Troquet on South and will include sweet offerings like Blue-beary Crisp ice cream from Parlor Ice Cream Co. as well as bear claws and boozy gummy bears from The Townshend’s dessert guru Kate Holowchik. If all that wasn’t enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, there will also be a ton of Teddy Grahams available to snack on.

Woburn’s Lord Hobo Brewing Co. will have its signature Boom Sauce beer on hand for $4 so fans can toast to Keytar Bear, who may make a rare appearance, according to the event page.

This isn’t the first time locals have banded together to help the fuzzy music maker during a time of need. Following Keytar Bear’s most recent incident, fans raised more than $10,000 on GoFundMe to go toward getting the popular street performer new equipment.
